Join the 2011-2012 YES Innovation Program [Applications closed for this year]

There is no better way to hone the skills it takes to be a successful entrepreneur than to try it hands-on. The Innovation Program is a yearlong commitment that provides you with the resources to do exactly that.

We match you up with a balanced team of 3-4 people with similar interests and complementary skillsets. The first portion of the program is spent within your teams to brainstorm ideas that you would like to pursue as a venture. Toss anything on your mind out there – ideas have a tendency to grow big on their own. After you settle on an idea, the second portion is spent developing your idea and utilizing our resources to grow. At the end of the year is the YVC, our business plan competition.

Throughout the program, there are weekly “dev sessions” where all the teams get together in the YES office and work on their own projects. Essentially, it allows each individual venture to tap into a much larger company’s worth of ideas and expertise. The staff of YES will also always be on hand to act as sounding boards for ideas and to answer business development questions.
