YES-New York

The annual YES New York conference will be held on Nov. 15, 2013.

Previous Conferences

YES New York 2012. This conference aspired to serve as a stimulating, intellectual atmosphere for entrepreneurs in the city as well as those interested in entering the start up scene to come together, discuss, and network. This year’s focus was on the NY start-up ecosystem as compared to that of Silicon Valley’s; specifically, we addressed the decision process behind an increasing number of start-ups choosing to be based, and continue to based in New York. What are the advantages and disadvantages of NYC over the Bay area and vice versa? Are the entrepreneurs emerging out of NYC more media-oriented vs. engineering-oriented? What do successful NY entrepreneurs see as the future of the new generation of New York startups?

Hosted at: General Assembly. Panelists: Tim Ogilvie, Senior V.P. at MediaBank (founder of Adbuyer.com), Arlyn Davich (Founder of PayPerks), and Seth Bannon (co-founder, Amicus)
