Fred is a junior in Pierson College from London double majoring in Economics & Mathematics and Computer Science. He is the Co-President of the Yale Economic Review and serves on the executive board of the China Economic Forum and Hanppuri. He loves to travel and has a deep interest in East Asia. Ethan is a junior in Pierson College majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. Last year he served as Co-Director of Conferences and Competitions at YES, led the CS team for the Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association's CubeSat project, and worked as a researcher in Yale's Computer Architecture and Security Lab. He has a deep interest in Chinese language and culture and has studied both in mainland China and Taiwan. Contact him at [email protected].

Emily Chen is a junior from Minnesota majoring in Economics. She is co-president of the Taiwanese American Society and vice president of Yale Undergraduates at Connecticut Hospice. Amy Zhang is a rising sophomore in Calhoun and plans on majoring in Applied Mathematics and Economics. Amy also serves as the Conference Coordinator at the Yale Daily News Business Team and the Senior Analyst of the Consumer and Retail Team at Smart Woman Securities. Originally from Southern California, she loves beaches, In-n-Out, traveling, and skiing. She is excited to connect Yale students interested in entrepreneurship to VCs and Tech companies through YES conferences and events.

Steph Barker is a South African Sophomore with an interest in Engineering, Politics and Visual Art. Beyond acting as a Co-Director of Speakers for YES this year, Steph involved with Yale African Students Association, the Yale Center for British Art, the Yale University Art Gallery and Yale Outdoors. She enjoys good food, sailing, hiking and writing.
Jennifer is a junior in Branford College majoring in economics. She is the Co-Director of speakers for YES this season. Additionally, she is the Co-Executive Director of the Elmseed Enterprise Fund and Project Manager for the Yale Undergraduate Consulting Group. She is also a violinist in the Yale Symphony Orchestra. Matt is a rising Berkeley College sophomore with an interest in Economics, Computer Science, and History. Originally from Indiana, Matt is also a member of The Yale EX!T Players improv comedy group and a volunteer with Yale Moneythink. Last year he worked to bring engaging workshops to aspiring Yale entrepreneurs, and he is excited to revive the Yale Entrepreneur magazine this coming year.

Devon Merlette is a rising sophomore in Calhoun college majoring in Computing and the Arts major. He crafts print and web designs for the Yale Student Film Festival, and is also a member of Design at Yale. Devon enjoys listening to music, binge-watching the latest shows on Netflix, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.

Tiana is a rising sophomore in Ezra Stiles college and the Co-Director of Workshops for the Yale Entrepreneurial Society. Outside of YES, Tiana takes photos for Stiles and the Ivy Leadership Summit. She is also YLI Conferences and Events Vice Director, as well as a prospective English and Sociology double major.

Gloria is a sophomore in Timothy Dwight College and is a prospective Biomedical Engineering major. As Co-Director of Workshops, she is excited to bring engaging workshops to the Yale community. In her spare time, Gloria enjoys dancing, travelling, and discovering new restaurants.

Sara is a junior in Branford College double majoring in English and Psychology. She is the Co-President of the Asian American Students Alliance at Yale and is involved with the Yale Repertory Theater and Accent Magazine. Julie Luo is a sophomore in Silliman college majoring in Applied Math. In addition to YES, she is on the Varsity Women’s Golf Team, and is a member of the Yale Undergraduate Mindfulness Education Initiative (YUMEI), teaching workshops in local New Haven high schools about mindfulness and stress management.
