Innovation Summit 2011

The Yale Innovation Summit is this Friday, April 22nd, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is open to all of the Yale community and will be held at The Bourse co-working space at 839 Chapel St.

We’ve got two amazing keynote speakers

  • David Bradley, Owner of Atlantic Media Company, which publishes several prominent news magazines and services including The Atlantic Monthly, National Journal, The Hotline and Government Executive. Founder of the Advisory Board Company and Corporate Executive Board and
  • Jennifer Fleiss, before founding Rent the Runway worked at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. One of FastCompany’s 2011 Most Influential Women in Technology.

In between, there will be pitches from 6 Yale start-ups competing in the Yale Venture Challenge. These teams stand to win some serious prizes.

During the second speaker, the final round judges of the YVC will deliberate and score the teams, announcing the winners at the end.

  • 5:00-5:15 networking/food time

  • 5:45-6:45 Pitches from the final round teams

    FastCompany’s 2011 Most Influential Women in Technology. Final round judges deliberate at this time.
  • 7:15-7:30 Winners and prizes announced.
  • 7:30-8:00 Networking/discussion time.
