Alina Yang is a senior Economics and International Studies major. This is her third year serving on the Board; she first ran the Community Outreach department, which launched the YES High School Entrepreneurship initiative two years ago, and the Social Entrepreneurship department this past year. She believes passionately in the power of entrepreneurship as a platform for students to transform ideas into action, and hopes to pursue a future in entrepreneurship education. Outside of YES, she has also served as the President of AIESEC, an international leadership and business organization, and captain of the women's water polo team. She has also held internships with Forbes China in Shanghai and Asia Pacific Investment Partners in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Brandon Wilton , Director, Department of Development

Brandon Wilton is a senior Economics major in Yale College. Last year, he was Chief Financial Officer. In addition to his involvement in YES, he is a former Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Economic Review and is a member of the Yale International Relations Association. Outside of Yale, Brandon has studied Mandarin Chinese in Beijing as part of the Princeton-in-Beijing program, has interned at a Shanghai consulting firm, and has interned in private equity in New York. Brandon is most interested in finance and venture capital in China, and hopes to make a career in a related field after graduation.

Justin Woo, Director, Yale Entrepreneur Magazine

Justin Woo is a junior Art major with a concentration in graphic design. As a freshman, he began as the art director for the Yale Entrepreneur magazine. Although the past two years under his direction have led to numerous explorations for the YE look, the magazine has become one of the most recognizable and anticipated publications on the Yale campus. And when he's not compiling style guides and flipping through swatchbooks, he heads his own design and marketing collaborative, watches Family Guy on Hulu.com and talks about why the 'HeadOn' commercial is pure genius with his friends.

Steven Blumenfeld , Director, Department of Innovation

Steven Blumenfeld is a junior at Yale
and is currently pursuing a double-major in Political Science and
International Studies. This will be Steven's third year with YES, and
he previously served as an Associate Director where he organized a
panel on the economic crisis (October 2008) and collaborated between
YES and the Mory's Association, and as a staff member in the
Community Outreach division where he helped to create and implement
an entrepreneurship program for local high school students. Last
summer, Steven worked for the United Nations Convention on Biological
Diversity, focusing on a review of global
water policy. He spent his previous summer in Swaziland and South
Africa addressing the HIV/AIDS crisis through theater. Steven also
serves on the board of the Mory's Association and has played a key
role in the restructuring of that organization. He currently resides
in Jonathan Edwards College and is originally from Lido Beach, New
York.

Jason Weed, Director, Department of Competitions

Jason Weed is a junior in Yale College majoring in Chinese and Economics. As a sophomore he was a Judging Director for the Y2K and Y50K entrepreneurial competitions. In the past he has interned at Enterpricing, an international tax firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From summer 2007 through spring 2008 studied Chinese at the Harvard Beijing Academy and at the Associated Colleges of China in Beijing. In China he also worked in the international finance department of a credit-reporting start-up in Zhongguancun, "China's Silicon Valley." In the summer of 2009 he will be interning at Taishan Capital Corporation, an investment banking firm, in Beijing.

Shabdha Chigurupati , Director, Department of Conferrences

Shabdha Chigurupati is a sophomore at
Yale in Morse College and a prospective Economics and International
Studies major. She is particularly interested in international
economic development. As a freshman, Shabdha served as a member of
the Development Department and focused on raising money from
foundations. Apart from YES, Shabdha is a Managing Editor for the
Yale Economic Review, a Staff Analyst for Maya, a student-run
consulting, marketing and advertising firm, and an avid tennis
player.

Jessica Cole , Director, Department of Social Entrepreneurship

Jessica Cole is a
sophomore in Yale College planning to major in either English or
Political Science with an Urban Studies concentration. She has been
part of the YES staff since her freshman year, when she worked in the
Social Entrepreneurship Department to plan the first annual Social
Entrepreneurship Conference at Yale and the High School Program. She is
a passionate advocate of businesses as vehicles of social change as
well as a junkie for entrepreneurial blogs. When she is not
brainstorming start-ups with teens, Jessica
spends her time pursuing her own social media venture, giving tours,
learning about New Haven as an Urban Fellow, and volunteering with the
Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project.

Cameron Musco , Director, Department of Finance

Cameron Musco is a sophomore in Yale College planning to major in either Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering. He first became involved in YES as a freshman, working as a staff member in the Finance and Technology Departments. Outside of YES he also works on the business staff of the Yale Economic Review and is a member of Yale's formula hybrid racecar team. This past summer he interned at Moody's Investors Service in New York working for their Infrastructure Finance Department. Cameron is originally from Rhode Island and lives in Pierson College.

Phil Shao , Director, Department of Technology

Philip Shao is a sophomore in Yale college and is planning to major in Computer Science. He joined YES his freshman year as a member of the Technology Department, and was involved in the Mory's 2.0 project to build a website for the Mory's Temple Bar. Outside of his YES responsibilities, Philip is also a YEI fellow for his work on Tezin Software, a company that designs content management and delivery platforms for websites. In his spare time Philip likes to play the guitar, perform magic tricks, and belly dance. Philip is originally from Los Angeles and lives in Pierson College.

Max Uhlenhuth , Director, Department of Communcations

Max is a sophomore in Timothy Dwight college.
He plans on majoring in computer science and
has previously served as a member of the Tech Department of YES.
Max is interested in all things
technical.
In his role as director of
the Communications Department he will work to streamline communication both
internally and between YES and the greater New Haven community through innovative online
solutions.
Outside of YES, Max implements
web applications for other student startups and is co-founder and CEO of
AccuScholar, a web-based school
data-management company.
In his free
time, Max helps run the (totally unofficial) Timothy Dwight blog and hopes to
expand blogging to the other residential colleges at Yale.
