YouNoodle Instructions

This year the competition will be run through a website called YouNoodle. YouNoodle is essentially Facebook for entrepreneurs and has a portal through which groups like YES can host business model competitions.

To use the YouNoodle system, each team member will need to create a YouNoodle account at YouNoodle.com by simply clicking “Join YouNoodle” on the homepage and following the directions. From there, you can join the competition here. Once you’ve joined, click “Submit an entry” on the right panel.

Fill out the necessary information on this page and download the three PDFs at the bottom, “YVC Entry Agreement“, “Monthly Update Form (start in January)” , and “YVC Competitors Guide“.

For the initial submission, the YVC Entry Agreement needs to be downloaded, filled out, and uploaded to your submission in addition to your 3 page plan before your submission is valid.

Starting in January, you will also need to upload monthly updates on your business. This will aid in getting advice from judges and will show better how your business has developed and your team has learned through the process. The monthly update form can be found on the YouNoodle submission page.
